Back to the 1970s with room 408 which is clearly offered to those who check in late. A walk across the hall takes you to your bathroom. Not good at the rate offered. Not acceptable

Our room was rather basic, but clean--and spacious by Brussels standards. The renovated bathroom was very functional and bright. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood that is largely deserted at night, though there are a couple of charming cafes nearby. Service was good. We had to have some printing done and the front desk did it at no charge. Breakfast was much better than average for a hotel. So don't expect luxury, but the Hotel du Congres offers good service and basic, comfortable rooms in a quiet location.

I enjoyed my stay here. Room was small but clean. A continental breakfast was a nice feature. The lobby, dining area and meeting rooms are very nice and in a bit of a contrast to the rest of the hotel. Very centrally located and easy to walk everywhere from here.

Very basic, relatively clean. Wireless internet connection is good. Area is completely dead at night, empty streets. On the other hand, the hotel corridors teem with nocturnal life - guests walk from room to room to visit friends, banging the doors. Really, it is like a student dorm.
