Have stayed in this hotel twice. 2 years ago in summer and this November. First time room was fine, overall no complaints. This time - huge disappoitment. Do not let the pictures in the sites to mislead you. I made booking trough www.booking.com. The price was down from around 400 Eur to 150 Eur for 3 nights total which for Brussels is almost for free. However. The room (nr.1) was small, with no daylight, as window was painted and therefore not transparent. The only one advantage was bathroom, which was simple, clean and equiped with all you may need. Breakfast consisted of cheese, bread, jam and pastries. If you want to leave your luggage after the check out, you have to be aware that it stays in the reception area half unattended as staff may be not in the reception but in other part of the hotel. Actually, it should not be called hotel, it is hostel.

The room I got in this hotel was the smallest room I have ever stayed in and it didn't feel safe at all, considering that the hotel itself is located in the dark street in a middle of nowhere.
When I tried to get in the room, the door lock stayed in my hand, and I could not lock it afterwards.
The bed is the smallest one you can imagine, the bathroom as well...

My wife came back from this hotel horribly bitten by bed bugs. She was changed room after waking up with bugs in the bed. Four days later, horrendous ITCHY and RED bites covered her arms arms, legs, torso and face. The owners were not surprised and admitted it has been a recurring problem. Disgusting. You could not pay us to stay at Sabina Hotel again.

We booked 3 months in advance, the web page said disability access if requested, so I requested a wheelchair accessible room. I received confirmation of booking.

When we got to Brussels the hotel owner said they had emailed me to tell me they were not wheelchair accessible and as I had not cancelled they ere charging the first night to my credit card. There we were in Brussels it was late and no where to stay, and being charged for the privilage.

I told him I had not been emailed. However when we got home we found he had emailed me after we left England to drive to France first and then Belgium. Despite my requests for my money back, they had taken it immediately, I have not had even so much as an apology that they emailed after I left and with no chance of cancelling.

However it was a grotty looking place, and not in a salubrious part of Brussels, we were quite gald we were not staying. We went to Antwerp and loved it.
