“Good location close to grand place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

Atlas is in a great location, handy to the old town and grand place. It didn't feel like the most safe area to be in if alone at night but then again a lot of places in Brussels can feel like that. Overall though the hotel was fine - service was good, breakfast was ok, room was clean and quiet. No nice views from the rooms, but when it's in such close proximity to the main sites, you don't need to stay indoors!

“Great location, would go back”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

I stayed in a twin room with a friend for a weekend to visit the Christmas markets. It is a great location near St Catherine's Place and an easy walk near two tube stations (St Catherine or Bourse). It was clean and a good size with a desk and a little table with 2 tub type chairs which we brought back food and ate at.. There is a mini bar with drinks and room to put your own things too. We found it very quiet both from the inside & outside (despite being fully booked) and slept well. The rooms are probably big for a European hotel and what you would expect for 3 stars - basic but fine. I think a very good price that includes free internet and breakfast.

“Everything (and even more) that you can expect from a 3* hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 December 2011

A hotel with a very good position. Clean & tidy. My bathroom was big and very clean. There was an LCD TV in room also. The staff was friendly and helpful. Free Wi-fi is also a bonus if you want to check out the news or e-mail on your laptop or mobile phone. I liked a free drink for the new guests in their lounge and a computer with a free access to the internet. It was very quiet except some ambulance/police sirens on the street. Breakfast was standard like on the most european hotels with 3* range.

“Good location and good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

We booked here for a weekend break and found it to be well located for central Brussels. Our room was spacious clean and quiet, the breakfast excellent and the staff very polite and helpful. We parked in Dansaart about 150m away at a cost of 17euros / night. A little expensive but was secure and close.
Brussels itself is very lively with hundreds of restaurants and bars - again more expensive than some places but that's big cities for you. We found a fab restaurant called Publico nearby which served excellent Belgian and mediteranean dishes. There are lots of quaint bars serving any number of beers.
Brussels is very cosmopolitan and liberal. One thing that does stand out is the language divide. French speakers don't speak Flemish, and Flemish speakers won't speak French!
As a visitor I suggest speaking some French helps, although English is widely spoken. Beyond Brussels forget French - its Dutch or English!
All in all a great place to visit - Christmas light show was spectacular!

Room Tip: It's in a quiet location so I assume all rooms are OK.
