We stayed three nights in this hotel and it was excellent. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, smiling and helpful and spoke perfect English. We were a little early for check in but this was no problem and we were shown through to the bar whilst they checked if our room was ready and it a short while we went to our room on the 5th floor number 506. The hotel has a really nice ambiance, well decorated and comfortably warm. Our room was large, with a good size bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space and a generous amount of clothes hangers, complimentary slippers and robe. There was an area for making tea/coffee with mini bar, cups, glasses etc. The bed was Queen size, very comfortable and lots of pillows. The room was at the back of the hotel which was fine with us, we don't go to a hotel to look out the window, it was nice and quiet too. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't say what the food is like and it was quite expensive at €25 for breakfast. The hotel is situated away from the city centre in the Financial District and is off of Avenue Louise which is a very up market road with high end shops. It is easy to catch the number 94 tram into the city centre and this costs €2 per trip. We chose to walk and there is plenty to see, in addition to the shops the architecture is lovely, nice statues and it is easy to cross the road but stick to the crossings as you can get into trouble for jaywalking if you don't. Also be aware that they don't always appear to clear up dogs mess on the pavement, it wasn't a serious problem but you do just need to look where you are walking Near the hotel there were several places to eat but far more in the city itself, just around the corner there is a Caffe Fresh which is great for breakfast and Lucas restaurant was great for dinner. There were several small Carrefour mini supermarkets nearby so it was easy to buy anything you needed. On the day before we went home the staff helped us arrange a taxi for our trip back to the airport. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Brussels and I would definitely stay at this hotel again and am happy to recommend it.
Room Tip: A room at the back of the hotel is good and quiet although the road the hotel is situated in is off...
