I was very pleasantly surprised with the size of my room in the Euroflat, which looked like it had been decorated fairly recently. I say this because the room was modern by comparison to the corridor outside, which smacked of 70's kitsch.

Its in a good location for the European area in Brussels, an area to be otherwise avoided as it's very quiet. I was disappointed with breakfast however - cold coffee, scrambled eggs that were so watery they barely constituted solid food and sausages that I won't be trying again. If you're a fan of continental breakfasts involving cheese and cold meats, you'll be fine but these aren't my first choice.

A very large room, with small (narrow) wardrobes. It was too hot, but the window did not open and the heater was jammed on high (tried to adjust the temperature control valve to no avail). The fridge in the room kep coming on all night, waking us up. The tiles in the bathroom look very 70s. Having to go again in January, so not really looking forward to it.

I booked this hotel on a business trip, for 3 nights, after having read the positive reviews. BIG mistake.
The location was perfect right but the EU commission. But that's pretty much all good there was.
My room was clean, but somehow there was a huge aircon machine in the middle of the room...the room hasn't been renovated since many many many year, or ever. On the balcony there was a huge bag with what seemed to be sand...
the kitchen was totally empty, you could call the reception for supplies.
The elevators were very old and slow.
but the worst experience was the fact that they decided to paint all walls in the hall on my floor without any notice, without moving the guests to other rooms, and as the door to the room was very thin and secure by the way, the smell of fresh paint was coming into the room. After 2 hours i had a headache and decided to go to sleep. I woke up the next morning with an even bigger headache, as you couldn't really leave the window open because then it got way too loud. How can you decide to paint on a floor where guests are staying having such thin walls and doors?
Breakfast was ok, the choice wasn't huge but it was fresh.
However i really wouldn't recommend this hotel, there are other nice hotels in brussels, I will for sure stay elsewhere the next time.
