The 18th century-style surroundings in the lobby set the tone for a wonderful tone for a great stay in this comfortable hotel in the heart of Brussels. Good service, very good breakfast (they will cook eggs of your choice if you ask) and don't miss the guest book!

I stayed at this hotel for one night with my girlfriend. The hotel is very dark and worne down.

The entire hotel seems very dated and is in urgent need for a complete renovation. The staff is kind and helpful but I cannot imagine this hotel being around for a long time in the current conditions. The bath room is old and our toilet was leaking so I had to repair it myself. Not really the thing I like to do during a romantic getaway.

The interior design of the hotel is pretty old and ugly. Not charming at all.

I will definitely never go back. If you want to stay on Avenue Louise the Conrad and the Bristol Stephanie are better choices.

We obtained a very good value package for stay, breakfast and parking. The hotel was quiet and the service from reception was very good We choise a room at the back as the hotel as it is on the very busy Avenue Louise. Quite a way out of the centre, but not a problem as the trams stop very close to the hotel entrance. At least two good restraunts within a short walk of the hotel Le Fin Sciecle, and Mielleure Jeunesse which we would recommend. My only complaint about the hotel is that if I was paying for breakfast at 27 Euros and not included in price of package then I would expect fresh orange juice and fresh fruit which was not served on the buffet table.

We stayed at this hotel as the August rates were very competitive. It's located close to some great cafes and restaurants. However, the service was pretty average., internet access was sporadic. Down for most of our stay.
