A very quiet, clean and old-fashioned hotel that provides good value for money, in what may appear, on a map at least, to be a good location in Brussels (Ave Louise). Don't be fooled by the location. After 7PM you could roll a bowling ball down the neighborhood's main streets and not hit a thing. No bars (at least ones that were open) no restaurants, no nothing after dark. Basically you are a couple of tram stops away from the action, even for a quiet dinner, or a pint. Fortunately the tram stops right out front.

I was upgraded to a superior room for a 10 day stay and found the room warm and cozy and rather large by Euiropean standards overlooking Ave Louise. The internet was free (a real bonus in Europe) but the fitness room was ratrher stark with only a couple of ageing and second rate machines. Don't bother - go for a run instead.

The staff was helpful and good spirited, though the hotel bar was mostly deserted emphazing the need to find people and places out of the nrighborhood. I would stay again for a short visit but anything over a couple of days and I would find a more lively location.

Steven Nicholson, London & Geneva. I have been staying at the Warwick Barsay (formerly Mayfair hotel) on a regular basis since 1994. A number of the staff are here since that time and I really welcome the personal and attentive service they provide. The rooms are comfortable and very well equipped, the food in the restaurant is excellent and the bar intimate and welcoming. The garden in summer is an extra plus. I have recommended the hotel to both friends and clients, none have been disappointed and I do not plan to stay anywhere else on the 10-12 times a year that I visit Brussels.

This really fantastic Hotel, renovated from top to bottom during the past four years, is situated on Avenue Louise, one of the most central thoroughfares in Brussels. It has old world charm, beautifully appointed rooms, with all modern internet connections etc. in every room. The restaurant is incredible when considering that it is a Hotel Restaurant. The staff are extremely helpful, charming and polite. For the price, one of Belgium's best hotels and one which I will continue to visit each time I am in Brussels. I will be staying there again in September for the sixth time, and would stay nowhere else when in Brussels.
