Stayed at hotel for one night as a stop off from mini eurotrip before catching the oostende ferry back to ramsgate, checked out at 5am only to find the car had been broken in to!!!! THANK GOD nothing was taken as all major valuables ie camera were at the hotel with us but receptionist on that morning could of not been less helpfull if he tried, he didnt offer to call police, check camera security footage but was so unhelpful that we had to leave as sort out in a foreign country by ourselves!!! we know our car could of been broken into anywhere at any time but a nightporter or receptionist who would of tried to help even the tiniest bit would of been appreciated a million times more.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the European buildings in Brussels. It is pretty standard although a bit expensive for the room I had. Not many power plugs in the room, and some stains on the walls. The room is spacious though.

No free Wifi in the hotel - 10 euros for 1-day pass...
Breakfast is okay but costs 12 euros.

You can find better deals in Brussels if you book in advance!

The only advantage of this hotel is its location near the main EU institutions!

I was given room Nr.16 on the first floor. The furnishing was OK except that all of it was covered by dust. I found pubic hair on the bed linen and in the towels, long hairs in the bad tub. My reservation was made two months in advance, so there was plenty of time to clean it up.

Wi-Fi internet is available for a fee of 10 € for 24 hours. The connection is incredibly slow. After 14 hours of use my account was deactivated and I could not log in. I was given a new username and a password after a long unnecessary discussion.

When I checked in, I was received by a very polite gentleman. The next shift on the reception was a disaster. I have never experienced more rude and incompetent receptionist in my life. By the way, the rooms´ descriptions on the website state that they are air-conditioned. The only problem is that it can be turned on and off only by the receptionists, and you have to call them every time or go to the reception because sometimes they simply do not pick up the phone or forget to fulfill your request.

I was further unpleasantly surprised by the big noise in the night. My room was facing an inner courtyard but you could hear the air-conditioning from the neighboring rooms and the traffic from the Schuman circle.

The only reason for choosing this place in my case was that I was invited to a job interview in Brussels and it was my first visit there, so I had to stay at a place near the EPSO offices.

I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemies and will for sure refrain from future visits.
