The hotel is next to the European Commission, about 100m from the Metro station and within easy reach of plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood. There is also a bus station around the corner.
Rooms are quite spacious, modern, clean, air conditioner working and bathroom also clean. We have absolutely no problems with the facility but the gadgetry, services and service level leaves a lot to be desired for. It"s a good hotel and I would return to stay there. You just need to be aware of the issues. Here are what we encountered.
- Nice Nespresso machine provided but you have to pay 2.50 EUR for each cup of coffee in room.
- WiFi was available and a User ID and Password is provided upon check-in. We were able to connect to the access point BUT not able to access the internet the entire stay. Complaints to reception met with an apology, "we shall fix immediately" and then, nothing happens.
- Room Service menu provided but kitchen only has salami and cheese. Reception will direct guest to find Room Service or Housekeep in order to obtain service, BUT when found, they don't speak English.
- Room Key resets itself every day, so we have to front up at reception to ask for the key to be reprogrammed again EVERY DAY.
- Beautiful Bosch executive telephone in the room, BUT it does't work... no dial tone. Reception don't seem to be able to understand that without a phone, we are not able to contact reception, housekeeping or room service and have to front up at reception all the time.
- Car Parking was advertised as free, but in reality there was only 12 tiny spots for 10 cars in a VERY tight underground garage. Off street parking is free on weekends, if available.
Room Tip: Rooms are good.
