We arrived in Brussels cold and tired last Saturday night. We were impressed with the look and feel of the hotel and also its location. The young man on reception did not really tell us about any of the hotel services, i.e. if there was a bar/restaurant or offer any advice for dinner options. But I guess once you walk outside everything is there - huge variety of cafes, bars, restaurants. Our room was small but had everything you would need. I had noticed a sign on reception apologising for the construction noise but as we arrived on a Saturday nothing appeared to be happening. That all changed the next morning, with drilling, jackhammering and many trucks reversing in and out of a car park at the back of the hotel. I would encourage any visitors to this hotel to ask for a room away from that area - I think it is the back entrance of the Gare Central. The other tip is that if you happen to arrive in Brussels by train there are several main train stations and the one need for this hotel is Gare Central (not Gare Midi). I probably would return to the hotel if we could organise a room away from the noise. We stayed 3 nights so it did become a bit of an issue, particularly when the noise started up at 4.20am on our last morning.
