“Nice hotel & facilities... shame about the rude staff”

Nice hotel and facilities ruined by rude staff who do not understand concept of good service. Breakfast buffet manager Jesus gets first prize for incompetence and rudeness. Took 15 minutes (and 3 reminders!) before bringing baby highchair requested on arrival. When it finally arrived - the highchair was broken, missing the strap between the legs so we had to hold the baby the whole time! Chaos in the buffet, tiny service window for fresh eggs, guests waiting for orders blocking the self service hot food. Very busy and loud. Manager focused only on seating people ASAP (except babies!), no concept of service at all, very rude. Chambermaid knocked on the door early despite do not disturb sign. Reception staff all think it is acceptable to carry on personal conversations with each other at the same time as they are "serving" guests. Great location, good on site (payment required) underground parking. Lovely bedrooms although bathroom a bit basic for 5 star and no separate hand towels only bath towels and no bathrobes. Certainly far below expectations for a 5 star hotel and well below standard I have previously experienced (and enjoyed) with Radisson.

“Go if the price is right”

We spent one night in January as a family of four and stayed in a deluxe suite. The rate was very good and included breakfast and internet usage. Also included was use of the business lounge but in all honesty this was just a corner in a corridor with only coffee or coke on offer.

The hotel is midway through a refurbishment of the rooms. Our suite had not been refurbished and was very dated. The quality of some the fittings was also not up to scratch. Breakfast was correct but in a very soulless room. Not the biggest of choices.

The location is excellent and you are in easy walking distance of the main sights. Staff were very pleasant particularly a charming French girl who checked us out.

I would come back if the price was right but the experience fell well short of being 5 star.

“Great hotel, ideal location”

I stayed here on a business trip, and found the location in the centre of Brussels ideal. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, and in general the staff were first class.

My only slight issue was the length of time it took to check in and out...... Maybe I was just there during a busy period.

I would be happy to go back to this hotel anytime.

“not a 5-star hotel, price-quality reasonable”

We took a business room on friday to have dinner in the excellent (** michelin sea grill) restaurant in the hotel- not from the hotel.
Check inn was 2star hotel class: long waiting time, spoke only french, no parking anymore, some discussion behid the desk between personel.
Room was OK but became not OK. Airco didn't work properly and the rooms at the inside don't have windows to open. No wifi available. Products in bathroom soso.
Breakfast was included and was a very good buffet.
For me, this is not a five star hotel. But to be honest, we payed as for a three star hotel, so price-quality OK.

Room Tip: Ask for a parking in advance if you need one. Ask for a room at the outside.

“Awesome stay”

The hotel is located right in the city centre, just a few steps from all the attraction, tram station is very nearby though. The rooms are in classic style (I'm not a fun of this btw), very well equipped (coffee maker, etc) with comfortable beds. On each floor business corner with free internet and printing facilities can be found as well as free soft drinks, fruits and yoghurts. I enjoyed this hotel two times and going to come back again.
