My husband and I stayed two nights in room 205, one of the large Romantic rooms. The room is good sized, with a large desk, minibar, and table with two chairs. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is large and well-equipped. The biggest problem with the room is a lack of lighting -- there are many small lights but not enough for working or reading at night. Since we were on a business trip, this was a problem.
The hotel staff responded quickly to fix a burned out bulb and provided a second luggage rack without us even asking. Breakfast was good, and the lounge was a pleasant and comfortable place to meet with a colleague who lives in Waterloo. You can unload your car and use the elevator to take your luggage to the lobby, first or second floors. I had problems accessing the internet on my laptop, but it worked fine for my husband.
