Travelled to Mechelen for business. Arrived yesterday and came by car. The parking lot is only meant for experienced drivers, something that might be characteristic to all Mechelen parking lots underground.

Room is run down. Wallpaper is coming off the walls. Bad airco, made me sick. Remote controls is not working. I will try to get another room today. Friendly service though, so far. Room service at night is very limited.

The hotel room we had was good and clean, with a very good (and large) bed and a decent bath room. The bath was a bit small though.

There is a free pillow service, which means that you can order the type of pillow you want. Very nice!

Nice shampoo.

We had breakfast delivered to the room (free for the "romantic getaway"), which was quite extensive.

Location is okay, not in the very center of the town, but everything is walkable.

Minutes walk from city center and train station, very convenient for business and leisure

Stayed at the NH last week on business. The hotel is in a central location within Mechelen and within good walking distance of local bars and restaurants.
The room I had looked as if it had been recently been refurbished and was a good size and very comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar (extra) in the room too.
There was a restaurant in the hotel, I didnt use as we went out for dinner.
There is no bar, but a range of beers and wines in the lounge that you can help yourself to and and put onto your room bill.
There was a breakfast buffet with a good range of cereals, breads, fruits, meats and hot eggs and bacon.. so it would suit most tastes.
Would use this hotel again on business or pleasure.
