“OK (not more but also not less)”

We paid 68 Euros for a double room (early booking rate), which is cheap. The room was OK, clean and functional. Matresses too soft, windows could not be opened except just a little slit of one or two centimetres. The building is quite clairaudient. We heard one of our neighbours, who obviously caught a cold, blowing his nose several times during the night. Breakfast is OK, no thrills, just the common fare of a lower-middleclass hotel.

Location is good if you want to visit the new museum, MAS, and not that good if you want to go to the city centre. Bus stop in front of the hotel but buses go only every 15 minutes on saturdays and every 30 minutes on sundays. However, walking disctance is OK: 20 minutes from the hotel to the cathedral.

As an alternative for the bus our guests have the (sportive) alternative to rent one of the city's bikes that are installed by the city of Antwerp. Our colleagues at the reception will be more than happy to explain how the system works.

“Consistent”

I visited this hotel again after 4 months. Nothing much has changed but I see the same breakfast each time. Maybe a bowl of scrambled eggs and something hot in the winter would be very welcome.
Rooms are looking a little worn out, the electric kettle had rust on the element and needed cleaning.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the Port side away from the road

“Some changes since I was last there, slight drop in service”

“excellent hotel for his price”

We stay there for one night [the next time will stay two minimum].Of caurse is not in the center,but there are the bus stations outside of the door and distance is only two stops.If you choose room with sofa,is enough big,with nice tv and clever bathroom.also the bed is comfortable.The free breakfast it was a big surprise for us,with big choice of food,they replace quicly all kinds of f the buffe,but,I have the information,that when they dont have a lot of clients,the breakfast is not great.Any way,we must say congradjulations to the director and the staff of this hotel.Behind the hotel there is a port [marina] and 200 m.from there you will see the bulding of MAS museum,one architectonical masterpiece and if you have time you must visit [every wensday free entrance]

“Perfect stay”

We spent 4 nights in this hotel and it was very nice. We had perfect view from the hotel room to the MAS, which was very nice at night. The hotel is near historical centre, but we had some problems on arrival, because we couldn´t find out which bus stops near the hotel so we were going all the way from central railway station on foot. It´s about 20 minutes with luggage. (From railway station bus no. 1 and 13, bus stop: Tunnelplaats) Breakfast was perfect - big choice, variety food. Only problem was that something was smelling in our hotel room. Maybe smell from air condition. Who knows. But we observed that only last night so we didn´t mention it at service desk. Tea accessories in a hotel room.
Note: The hotel is very good, it´s located near highway, but when we walked minor street to the shop for some drink (Lidl is there) there was some kind of "ghetto". Around the hotel to the MAS there is safety but I don´t advise to go at the other side from the hotel at night.

“Near destinated venue.”

Closely located to the venue (MAS) I needed to be, a short walk away. Comfortable and clean room, nice breakfast included.
