Nice Hotel for a short stay.Need car or taxi as it is well out of town. Very clean and food excellent. Had a good stay.

I sometimes wish people wouldn't review a cheap hotel as though it was pretending to be five-star! This is a cheap, comfortable place that does exactly what it says on its website, no more, no less.

I agree with a previous reviewer who mentioned that having a car helps. This is true, because schlepping here from the airport on public transport would be a bit of a mission. Once you're there, though, the tram into the centre of town is about a 10-minute slow walk away and you won't need the car at all to get to see the sights of Antwerp, which are many and varied. Right next to the tram stop are a supermarket and a quite nice bar/restaurant, as well as some other bars and shops, so the person who said below there were no shops nearby wasn't looking in the right place!

Hotel itself was basic but comfortable; breakfast was excellent (we didn't eat there for other meals). Recommended. Free wi-fi included.

if you go to these type of hotels you are basically only looking for a bed for a night and dont expect the luxury of a 5 star hotel of course, but clean rooms would have been nice! ok, on a brief look the bathroom looked alright, but the room did not. everything except the lobby and breakfast area is in urgent need of a makeover or at least some fresh paintwork. one the posotive side the hotel is centrally located next to the motorway (which you hear once you open the window) and within walking distance to 2 very good restaurants (notenkraker & euterpia). they also offer free parking.

The hotel room itself is good, even thought it's strange to still find smoking room. Make sure you check this out if you are not smoking at the risk to have bad smelling room.
The service, however is poor. We had a double room booking booked more than a month in advance but ended up with twin room (not good for our 1st day of honeymoon). Despite asking, we couldn't have any other decent room. The staff didn't even offer to put both bed together with larger bedding!
The breakfast buffet was passable for the price.
The hotel is located not far from tram stop for easy access to city center.
