ii was there in 20-21-22 january 2012 for a congress in room 545. we were almost 300 people except the client of the hotel for an international congress this hotel is very well situated very quick check in and check out the reception people very helpfull . we got an upgraded room in floor 5 we got an excutive lounge with free internet access and a very nice place to rest and take complimentary food and drink newspapers and very helpfull business desk
rooms are very good large clean and quiet warm little bit far from the elevator but with complimentary water for the two nights and tea and coffee kettle breakfast is nice with a big choice helpfull staff in all the hotel
the hotel is very near to the market restaurant shops and all the things you need
i will stay there again for sure

Going away for a weekend this hotel was a little expensive but well worth it. It's location is central (parking garage under the hotel) and the service and comfort is good. The interior could use some updating. But that's personal taste loving design and modern hotels. If you want to treat yourself to a nice weekend in Antwerp, take this hotel.

We spent 2 nights there. This Hotel should be rated as 3 stars Hotel. The only good thing - location. The stuff is doing their job, but without big enthusiasm. We couldn't stay in first room because of smell of cigarets and the noise from joined room. All furniture, bathroom, towels - very outdated. I was staying in Hilton in Edinburgh - for 70£ per night - much better. Here bottle of water 7 Eu.. I don't understand why all reviews of this Hotel, that I read before, were so positive and completely deferent from what we found. I don't recommend to stay this hotel to anybody - waisted money and big disappointment.

My family and I stayed here during a visit to the Antwerp Christmas markets. The Hilton is in a great location -- Groenplaats is right next to the Cathedral, and very close to both the market square and the river, making it convenient to get to all the markets. It is also on one of the subway lines, so it just takes a few minutes to get there from Antwerp's main rail station. The hotel is surrounded by shopping and restaurants.

The hotel itself is very nice, if occasionally looking a bit dated. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, with smooth check-in and check-out experiences. The room we had was quite large, with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms with both a tub and a shower (not sure if this is the case in all the rooms). The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet and dark, so we also were able to sleep well.

Unfortunately, beyond the basics, many of the extras were quite expensive. For instance, the cost to use the wireless was quite high, and the cost of breakfast was very expensive -- breakfast for 4 was about the same price as a one night stay in the room. Fortunately there are many good places close by to grab a quick breakfast, such as Mokamore across the street. However, the cost of these extras really impacts the value of the hotel, which, at least for just the room, was quite good.

So, overall, we were happy with our stay, and would stay again, but I'm disappointed in the extra expense of features which, if cheaper, could make the hotel a great value as well.
