I arrived at the hotel very easily got off the train at HS and caught a tram to the hotel. The check in went smoothly I showed them my priority club card and expected them to tell me all the extras they offer platinum members yet there aren't any. They handed me my room card and showed me to the lift. The corridor was a bit dated and the room was certainly dated. There were three small cakes complementary and also a couple of bottles of water. The bed was very wide, quite long and very comfortable. I decided to have a shower and head for bed. The toiletries which the hotel called luxury are the same ones you get in a standard room in a UK holiday inn, so not very luxurious. Someone had been helpful and turned the radiator up full so found out how to turn it off and then found the aircon remote nicely hidden behind a curtain. It made an awful noise when you turned it on. I don't have breakfast yet they still tried to add it to my bill. I am not an early riser so there was some noise due to the expanse work being done. Den Haag is a lovely city and really easy to get around. On return on the 2nd night they had a function on and I was turned away from the restaurant as they had some special people in eating. I went back into Den Haag and grabbed a burger and topped it up with some snacks from the Shell petrol station opposite.
Check out was very impersonal took the money and issued an invoice, didn't venture how my stay was or anything. I made a serious error of judgement on checking out I asked them to call a taxi. The tram to the hotel was 3 Euro the taxi was just over 20 Euro.
Room Tip: i had a room at the back with a balcony quiet at night.
