Booked the Corona at last minute and paid about 80 Euros for a double. The hotel has a fantastic location and couldn't really be any more central. It also has a really nice veranda bar which has huge windows and looks out over the square. The wine and snacks here were good and the bar was about as busy with locals in the early evening as any around - a good sign. The restaurant looked good (maybe a little pricey) but we didn't eat here. Instead we asked for recommendations and went to 'Taste' which is an absolutely superb wine bar - an must for any wine enthusiast - it's a 10 minute stroll from the hotel and has great wines by the glass and a huge selection by bottle. When you enter it is totally clear they are serious about the wine they serve. For dinner we went to 'Raffles' which served top notch Indonesian cuisine (the Dutch and even more so The Hague have adopted their former colonies' cuisine as their own and this is one of the best places) and is highly recommended for a step back in South East Asia.
The rooms at the hotel were clean and comfy. Perfectly adequate for the price and looking out on the square. Staff were extremely helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to return and I'm generally quite fussy and unimpressed with the majority of hotels.

This hotel is perfect situated in the centre of the city. Personnel is very friendly. You can visit the most important places by walking and have public transport close by. The hotel is a bit old fashioned but the rooms are big and beds have good quality. We had the bad luck that they were renewing there covered terrace but that will be an extra point in the future. The breakfast was a feast to visit. In the neighbourhood you can find all kinds of restaurants and pubs in all levels.

I spent two weeks here in the first half of December. The hotel had just been renovated over the past summer (32 of its 36 rooms plus restaurant, remaining rooms and reception next summer) and offered an exceptionally pleasant experience. Bathrooms very modern, nice desk for work, swiveling flat screen TV so it could be watched from a chair instead of only the bed. Free internet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location across from the Binnenhof, with pedestrian streets behind the hotel and plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants in all price ranges.Great value, given its location.
