better choose some other place to stay, especially if for leisure travelling! bad district, especially at night, noisy and you have to climb stairs with your luggage! :)

This is by far the worst place we ever stayed! I am surprised that there is no authority in a country like the Netherlands that check hotels! This hotel should not be aloud to have a licence. My dogs stay in a better place like this! We left this place in the middle of the night because we thought this was not good for our health. Dirt all over the floor. Junkies everywhere! Probably this is the place where they stay! Although we were drunk, we couldn't stay! my advice... don't go here!!!!!!! Hotel Benelux Rotterdam the most horrible place were you can go!

This the worst place i've ever stayed. Where do i start, the stairs are like a ladder and the receptionist don't speak english! The area the hotel is in is ghetto and i heard bottles being smashed outside and allsorts. The bathroom was so small i couldn't even have a dump with the door closed. I could go on forever but the bottom lone is after the first night i paid 150 euro a night to stay somewhere else because it was that bad. Don't bother wasting your time or money!

The experience rate is "Average" but not because of the hotel, but because of the experience we got in the Netherlands. When we got to the Benelux (it was hard to find and the neighborhood was a bit scary), we had to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor on the stairs, 'cos no other opportunity was given; the staff did not know good English, but tried to be helpful. The room was small, there was a big bed in it and that's it. The tv was broken, at least we could not use it. A plus is that there was wireless connection. If you are not an easy sleeper, the neighbors will probably give a hard time in the evening, the walls being very thin. If you took a shower, the whole bathroom got wet and floody; there was no place for our luggage...very very small room, not enough for two people, it was not cleaned properly (only the bathroom was clean)...so it is rather a hostel than a hotel. It happened that we could not enter our room because the card was locked after three days, but it was solved easily.
We would probably not go back to the Benelux, even if the average experience of Netherlands was good.
