This is advertised in many places as 4 star but it is nowhere near that. The rooms are pretty basic and only a few (the more expensive ones) have airconditioning. The main restaurant seems to be reserved for those who are not hotel guests and have booked a function or just a table. Hotel guests seem to be put in the secondary dining room with a lesser choice menu. The food is generally pretty good and plentiful. The bar is small but has a wonderful barman, it is used in early evening by local workers.
This hotel is in the middle of Europort but even so, there seemed to be quite a few tourists using it, even some Americans doing a horse holliday.
The Hotel is very good for a few nights if you have bussines in the Europort area or on a ship but if, like me, you then get stuck there due to some Volcanic eruption closing airspace for 6 days or more, it becomes a bit of a trial.
The best thing about this hotel is its location for working on ships and its excellent staff who went out of their way at times to assist any requests. Even so, I think the hotel is over priced.
