The hotel is located across from the central station, and close to the center of Leiden. We had an executive room in an apparently recently renovated part of the hotel. When we got to our room late Friday night, the room was freezing cold. We tried to warm it up fiddling with. The airco, to not much avail. We could have called maintenance, but were too tired after a very long day and went straight to bed. We discovered the heating the next morning hidden behind drawn curtains... We only had breakfast in the hotel only on Sunday morning, an experience better to be avoided in case you do not like standing in line in a crowded restaurant for food of somewhat less than average quality. We especially disliked the coffee, a feat normally not easily achieved in Holland. Saturday, we went to Beans&Bagels close to the market, which sports some of the best bagels this side of the pond. In conclusion, spaceous rooms, convenient location, rates are okay, avoid the food.
