The hotel's diminutive facade on the Beestenmarkt makes it easy to miss, yet it has a fairly impressive number of rooms occupying most of the block of houses. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable and the situation is ideal, overlooking a nice square covered in various cafés and enticing restaurants and about 5 minutes walk from the main square.

Major downsides: no free WiFi and a rather scant breakfast buffet.

We were delighted with this hotel. It was situated in the centre of old Delft and our room was beautifully clean, quite large and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful, The Continental breakfast was plentiful. We took the cultural weekend package plus an additional night. This included a delicious 3-course meal at a nearby restaurant and we thought it pretty fair value. There are no cars allowed in the old city of Delft so parking was at a reduced rate in a nearby underground carpark. The Hotel was located on the Beestenmarkt which has many restaurants and outdoor eating areas.

I have been in Delft , Netherlands for over 1.5 years and have been staying in various hotels. One of the best hotels during this time was Hotel De Koophanel. Located in front of the what they call sqaure where there is ice skating and sometimes open shows, this hotel looks small from outside. It doesnot have a lift but it winds you up all across the hotel through stairs. Rooms are good and spacious. the best part I liked about this hotel is the variety and warmness of their breakfast. They do not provide their own wi-fi service but you can buy KPN cards. I would def like to stay with them in future.

Excellent little hotel.

Staff were very friendly and offered to help with our luggage since there is no elevator to the upper floors.

Hotel was very well kept and clean.

Great location, close to the center of town and approximately a 10 min walk from the train station. Wonderful atmosphere.

Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
