“Good budget option near Delft”

Located near a motorway junction, this hotel is clearly ideal for motorists, but can also be reached by bus number 60 or 62 from the town centre (ask the driver to put you off at the stop called "Defensie", then walk past McDonald's and it's on the left just past the China Hotel) and it's also walkable if you know the way (the receptionist will explain it to you).

On my arrival, Marika on reception was extremely friendly and welcoming. My ground floor room was fine, with a bath as well as a shower. But no soap was provided! One other negative point was a strange smell in the room on arrival, but it seemed to soon clear after I switched the air conditioning on.

I didn't have dinner in the hotel but I sat at the bar and watched a group of French people who were clearly enjoying their evening meal. In the morning the breakfast was a standard buffet, not terribly exciting but plentiful enough to get you started for the day.

I selected this hotel on cost grounds: on the night I stayed it was by far the cheapest option available locally. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would stay here again.

“Good choice”

Reasons for booking that hotel were a free car park (as we travelled by car across Europe) and a price (about €40 only!). Hotel very easy to find, just of the highway but there was no noise heard whatsoever. Very clean, well maintained, décor a bit dated and old fashioned...
Really helpful receptionist (I had to find a pharmacy and she printed me a map with all details of nearest pharmacy! ).
There is about 15 min walk to town centre and you can get a map and verbal directions from very helpful receptionist, in Engilsh off course:)
Town centre is lovely, with all the canals and bikes and tiny streets.. Well worth seeing!
There is kettle in the room with a selection of teas and coffees. Breakfast options seemed very good but served only until 9.30 am which was too early for us. Additionally they offer dry washing/ironing service.

“Excellent value, friendly, comfortable, convenient - fantastic for the money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2011

We spent one night here in August 2011 so we could visit Delft. We were on a reasonably tight budget and booked basically the cheapest hotel we could find in the area. The hotel is just off the motorway and really easy to find.

We were really pleasantly surprised - possibly the most helpfull / friendly receptionist we have ever come across. We had booked all that was left (2 single beds) but she managed to get us a double. The reception area is welcoming and clean.

The room was relativeley basic but comfy and real credit to a hotel in this price range - absolutley free good wifi and modern tv with lots of free channels !! Great. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. Again for a cheap room there was a bath, a kettle, coffee / tea and toiletries. We havent stayed in many Dutch Hotels but for the price this is all very good to find.

Its a 20 min walk to downtown Delft - not too demanding at all (Reception have a map and are very happy to talk you through the route) - and in the local vicinity theres a McDonalds and a Chinese Restauraunt (Part of a neighbouring Hotel). We didnt eat in the Hotels restauraunt but it looked really nice and wasn't too pricey.

All in all (For the price) an excellent hotel for those on a budget - thoroughly reccomend it.

“A lovely quite place at the outskirts of Delft”

Service: We only met the receptionist!!!! Very helpful!!! Provided major info about the city and the activities.

Room: A basic clean room with a very big bathroom.

Location: A little bit far from the town. But if you like walking then it is ok. We walked to the city center and it took us around 20 minutes.
