Always when we go to Vlissingen we stay at this hotel.
It's located at the beach, walking distance from cinema and citycentre.
Rooms are nicely decorated in warm brown/red colors (recently redecorated which was needed) and bathroom in a cozy brown/black.
The kitchen at this hotel is great, we love the fresh seafood and fish dishes here, you can eat a la carte but the weekends there are also buffets available (we choose the a la carte as we prefer to be served instead of go for our own diner)
Also on Saturdaynight they usually have live music by various artists and everytime different styles of music.

Though Vlissingen itself is not so big, we love to go here and just get wind blown through our head and relax, take a cinema-evening, walk on the beach, see the big ships pass by.

For our second time in Vlissingen we chose this hotel because one of the few with rooms with seaview. The room had a very small balcony but being autumn anyway we did not stay outside, we could open the curtain and just enjoy it from the bed. It is a bit expensive, but the view is really unique, the lounge is of course on the side of the beach which makes it really nice too. Then the room was very clean, with a very nice modern bathroom. They had put for free two cots for our small kids and there was still some space to walk around. The bed was super-comfortable and large. We also had a parking spot included in the price (the parking arrangement was a bit confusing from their site, maybe since it was low season they could accomodate us easily). Breakfast was very good, maybe not the best coffee but a large choice of food, with warm meals (like eggs) cooked on the spot and a very nice choice of pastries (and of course bread, cereals and all the rest). I would definitely go back, even though it is a bit far from the city centre. I am rating a bit less the service because at check out I had to do quite some queue, only two receptionists and people passing in front of me from the other side of the column, very frustrating.

I'm staying regularly in this Hotel as view from a room overlooking the Schelde River is very nice, summer and winter. The rooms are refurbished nice bathroom and bedroom. During the slow seasons pricing is ok, however during the summertime they exagerate in almost tripple the rate.

Vlissingen is a strange town...kind of like being in Margate but in the Netherlands! Hotel was clean and conveniently located for the beach. Very smart restaurant outside which served good food, though the service was not very attentive. Wouldn't recommend eating anywhere else other than the hotel restaurant. Reception staff were not friendly. The room was just ok...we were on the wrong side of the hotel so couldn't see the ocean, and rather looked over a huge carpark! Very strange. Light was broken in the bathroom and there was no ironing board...though they did send up an iron (on its own!). Strange. My father was in a suite which was decorated beautifully but not exactly large for a suite. No room service at night which was annoying. Hated the live lobster tank in the reception...brutal and tacky.
