“Like stepping back in time...”

This little place is just like stepping back in time, but in a great way! A lovely find with history everywhere, great service, nice bathroom, great breakfast and a lovely bar downstairs. No negatives about this little place, except the stairs are quite steep and tight, so, if your not too mobile it may be a bit of an ordeal. Groede is a pretty little village, with a lovely square, a little further afield you can take the ferry to Vlissingen or Middelburg, both are definitely worth a trip. Would love to return soon!

“Very authentic place!”

It actually is a museum-hotel! It has tons exhibits of the authentic Dutch settlements from the older times. There are national costumes hanging on the walls. You can try them on and have a small photo session.

It is a very small family hotel. The only hotel in the town I guess. It is beautifully located, clean with good service. The local pub is nearby. But in that small town everything is nearby. :)

We stayed at the hotel with 3 friends. So we occupied the Family room which could fit 4 people. The room was under roof with 2 folding beds in the room and 2 more mattresses on the upper tier under the ceiling (you would need to climb the wooden stairs to reach there).

Breakfast was ok.

It was a very good value for the money (around EUR30 per person per night).
