nice family hotel, with very sizeable rooms and bathrooms, located outside the town of Goes, in a good proximity to the motorway, but not noisy at all. Approx. 5km to the closest beach. They have a very good restaurant on site plus a brasserie for smaller and quicker bites. Very good value for money in my books. Staff did all they could do to accomodate my needs, although the hotel was fully booked. Managed only to get a standard room, which don't have an aircon. That can be an issue, especially if the temperatures go north of 30 degrees.

We stayed at the Hotel on the last night of a six week European Holiday last October. Found the Hotel to be very clean, roomy and quite spread out. There were four of us, two adults and two teenagers, which despite our numbers we had a very comfortable night. The room was large and well appointed and even had a bath, which is a real luxury for a European Hotel. The service was good, however the public internet access was not very private (in the hallway to the kitchen!)
Buffet breakfast was superb and would recommend it to anyone. More than enough food and variety to suit every taste. Early morning staff a little vague when it came to assisting with transport.
Would recommend it as one of the best Hotels over the five different countries that we visited.
Will definately be going back on the next visit!

We were visiting friends who live in Goes over the 2006/7 New Year and this was the obvious (only?) place to stay. We were there for three nights and overall enjoyed it. The place is fairly modern - overall style is motel with car parking on two sides outside the rooms. It is out of the town centre but with a rental car we had no problems finding it. Rooms were good size though, with two young kids, we were disappointed to have two rooms on opposite sides of corridor! No minibar in room - just coffee-making stuff. Breakfast buffet was pretty good on the whole. With very few staff it included make-it-yourself bacon and fried eggs! Kids loved the Playstation near the restaurant - as did we with the appalling weather we had! Staff OK but not exactly friendly - reception or restaurant. Some nice Christmas decoration made the place feel a bit more friendly than it might otherwise have been. A few nice and original gifts for sale in the reception hallway as well. Also a small compound outside with goats, sheep, deer etc. occupied some time with the kids as well. Overall a pretty good place to stay though it has little competition, of course!

I stayed at Hotel Goes for one week while in Holland for business. The hotel rooms are currently being renovated and I was placed in a recently renovated room which was very nice and large. My only complaint was the lack of AC. I understand that this is not always easy to find in Europe and Holland was experiencing atypically warm weather while I was there. However, my room was on the third floor with a balcony - the windows didn't open and the only ventilation I could get was by leaving my balcony door open. Not an ideal situation since I had to keep the door closed so that my room would be secure while I was gone all day.
The hotel is well maintained and is very clean in all areas. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options and fresh food. Internet access is rather expensive, I paid about $35 for the week and it could not be accessed from my room on the third floor, I had to be in the lobby or lounge on the first floor. The staff were neither overly friendly nor rude - they were there and would help if asked but didn't go out of their way to be friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is located in Zeeland - which if you stay at this hotel is because you want to be here. This is not something you'll likely end up finding by accident. This hotel is not in a city or town center, it is very much isolated and therefore quiet. However, there is a full restaurant and bar so they do have everything you need to survive.
Overall - I was pleased with my stay and was more than adequate for my business trip. Had I had more recreational time this hotel would not have been ideal due to the isolated location.
