I stayed in this hostel (as a single female traveller) for 4 nights in January.
To start with, if you've chosen to stay in a 20euro pppn hostel, you shouldn't have high expectations and this hostel is far from a disaster - I've paid far more for far worse. Bad points first - the "female dorm" was mixed every night, and the window didnt close (a lot of street noise). For me, the worst was the lighting in the bedroom and the bathroom were extremely poor, and although this was good when you're trying to sleep, it was pretty much impossible to pack/read/do anything. Room and bathroom were pretty badly furnished and not definately not clean.
HOWEVER, it's not all bad news for this hostel. There's a cosy lounge area upstairs with TV, sofas, tables, power sockets, and computers. Also, there's a great kitchen which is well stocked with staple foods (pasta, cheese, coffee etc) of which you can help yourself for free whenever you like. Breakfast buffet was cooked for you. This was invaluable when travelling on a shoestring budget.
Conclusion: Could be a very nice little city hostel, but right now, it definately needs improvement. With more effort from the staff to keep the place clean and repaired, and with better lighting, this could be a great budget hostel.
For the moment though, bring your own bedding and a torch.
