The location is good for us having the family close by. Breakfast is of good quality except there were no oranges. Rooms are clean but small so you have to organize your things very well. The extra set of towels were missing all five days.

Quite a long walk from the train station. The option is to take a tram, but its not very cheap - 3 EUR for 4 stations.
Trip to Amsterdam takes 25 min, but I will never trust Holland rail anymore, after closing the station for than 5 hours at NY!
Overall its just another Ibis, clean, small, reliable, nothing else to say.

This a great hotel, regarding the service, rooms and breakfast you get for the right price.

I stayed at the Ibis in Utrecht for 2 x nights and despite some good points such as ample free parking and being well signposted and located for most parts of Utrecht I can only describe the hotel as average.

I was given an inter-connecting room on the 2nd floor and unfortunately the sound-proofing in the hotel is almost non-existant as I had the misfortune of being woken by the various noises coming from the room next door on more than one occasion.

Breakfast is OK, lots of continental options and limited amounts of scrambled egg and streaky bacon. The bar snacks (sandwiches) are less appetising.
