We stayed over Easter with a ebay voucher so we had a good price / value relation.
room was fine , breakfast at first morning was chaotic as staff not able to cope with the large group that was there , follwoing days were much quieter and better . Freindly reception , very felxible and helpful .
Amersfoort is a lovely city to visit , we took dinner in the city as restaurant there had more flair than the hotel restaurant .

Althouh a little hard to find at first, this hotel is located near the main routes of Amerfoort, but it set in a quiet location off the roads.

We stayed here for 2 nights during a driving holiday around europe. We used it as a base for a day trip into Amsterdam. The train station is an easy 30min walk away or 10Euros in a Taxi, there are bus routes too but we didn't try them, the stop is about 5mins away. The Hotel is very clean, the rooms well fitted and big enough. With free internet access in the lobby and an impressive breakfast included in the price it made for a plesent stay.

Amersfoort is a nice place to visit, with lots of different types of food on offer in the centre. There is also lots to look at, if you ask at reception they will give you a very good city map with includes a walking tour to pick up the main sights.

A very good Hotel for the price, we paid about £40 (UK Punds) per night inc breakfast.

We arrived at the Tulip Inn at 1:30PM and had to wait till 3PM to check in. We had a reservation and the hotel was fully booked. It was upsetting that they could not get a non-smoking room ready for us and that we had to wait. Check out time was at 10AM. I had to rush and get our things in order to vacate the room.
The rooms are standard-no minibar. The grounds are exquisite- in the forest with a beautiful patio/bar. The breakfast was super. There's free internet in the lobby and they are expecting wifi for a nominal fee in the future. The front desk told me the bus station was down the block -pretty long block 15 minute walk - maybe I misunderstood and got in the extra exercise.
If you have a car- this is the place to stay. It is near the major highways and easily accessible. If not, stay closer to town.

rooms were fairly small, but restaurant/bar were good. The hotel is a little far out if you don't have transport, but public transport as ever in Holland is good.
