This is a real hidden gem. The rooms are little small and very average in decor, but the location and the staff make it absolutely superb. It is a beautiful location, right next to a small waterway, where you can hire little boats if desired. There is an excellent restaurant with really good food. I was surprised and delighted how good it was.

The best part of our stay by a mile though, was the staff. They were truly exceptional. Always served with a smile, incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful. I asked to check out the night before as we were leaving around 6.30am and they said to just leave the keys on the desk. When we went down the following morning to leave the keys, there was a package for us. As we were leaving before breakfast was starting, they had made us a packed lunch! (see photo) I smiled most of the six hours back to the ferry. Mind you, that was only after one of their waitresses came to our rescue by going and getting a set of jump leads to jump my bike off as I had flattened the battery.

I couldn't recommend this hotel higher. I want to visit Holland again, just so I can stay there!
