Called a couple hrs out to book this hotel and was told they had plenty of room. I was traveling with a friend and my 5 yr old daughter at he time. The owner had a family member that was leaving their parking space in front on the hotel and she told me to wait a minute so that I could park there. We told her that we needed two beds - one for me and my daughter and one for my friend. The room she gave us had two twin beds together so my daughter would have been in the crack and my friend really didn't want to be sleeping in the same bed as us. The shower opened up into the room which my friend was also not comfortable with so she said we needed a different room. The owner said she didn't have anything else and my friend told her that she was sorry but we would have to find a different hotel then. The owner got irrate and yelled at us for wasting her time among other inappropriate things. As we left she followed us out and told us to move our car that instant because her family member needed their parking space back - it was public street parking but we moved anyway. I was so disappointed in this place since it was recommended by one of my travel guides. The owner was one of the rudest people I've ever met and I have done a LOT of traveling around Europe and am not at all picky. This is the first hotel that I've had a real probalem with and can not recommend that anyone stay here.

The owner/manager of this hotel, willemijn, is very unprofessional, rude and apparently has no idea how to run a hotel.

The location is nice and building is good but everything is in disrepair. Toilet was broken, asked several times to fix and was ignored. Shower hot water only lasted a few minutes. Also owner/manager refused to clean regularly, her demeanor was extremely unfriendly, never smiled or offered any hotel services. There is no lounge area(standard for an actual hotel, not a rooming house) and owner and family rudely lounges in their living room in front of guests who are not allowed to use living room area.

There were really no hotel services at all just a poorly run rooming house, should NOT call itself a 3 star hotel as it misrepresents itself on the big sign.

I even asked to rent a bike and owner says not available rudely and wouldnt offer where I could rent one; this was typical rude treatment as she apparently doesn''t care if she has paying customers.

The only good thing was the location, and quiet because I was only one about two other guests in a 20 room "hotel".

There were absolutely no hotel services offered, room was shabby and not kept up, heat didnt work regularly(this was during winter), incompetent, extremely rude owner/manager and staff.

This place was more like a shabby rooming house run by a rude lady with no personality or management ability, rather than an actual hotel
