Night staff very helpful at check in as we arrived late on the 19th August. Room was a standard room, good size, we had a sea front view to the delight of my son who enjoyed watching the cruise ship, ferries and container ships going past. Room was very clean, beds were really comfortable and huge. Parking is at the back of the hotel (chargeable). Buffet breakfast had something for everyone, its a good size clean restaurant surrounded by windows for lovely morning views. Wouldnt hesitate in staying at the hotel again for a short break in a traditonal coastal resort.

We spent one night in the HI-Ijmuiden. Friendly and welcoming staff. As a member of Priority Club, they recognised the elite status and were apologetic for not being able to upgrade us to a suite as they were all taken. Checkin was quick and efficient although the costs are not mentioned upfront. As I had booked a room without breakfast and received a breakfast voucher I went downstairs to verify this. They had calculated 2 x breakfast ( We were a party of 2 adults + 2 children) and added the fee for parking on our bill. But as a nice gesture for not being able to provide us the suite, the nice lady at the reception said that the breakfast will be complimentary.

Appreciated the breakfast in the morning.

Too bad we had bad weather that day.

I stayed at this beautifully located hotel while on a business trip in the Netherlands. I had a room with a sea view which was really nice. Very helpful and competent staff. I stayed just for one night but it was worth it. Good breakfast.

I am often here for my work and it is always a pleasure to stay here. Hotel is well maintained beautiful location, very friendly employees and always helpful. Rooms are nice sometimes get an upgrade to the suite. Only minus are the very sober bathrooms and small separate toilets. Restaurant serves good quality food for a reasonable price. Breakfast big choice in the restaurant room.
