The common areas of this hostel had decent decor. But once I picked up my sheets and walked through the corridor into the sleeping area, I almost felt like I was in a prison. Okay, I'm exaggerating a little, but the rooms were completely devoid of any personality. Gray mattresses, gray floor. One room with the toilet, one room with the shower. But at least it was clean.
From the website or reviews I read, I had assumed food/dinner was available for purchase in their kitchen/dining room. This was not the case. They serve breakfast, and only if requested in advance do they serve other meals. I was disappointed in this because this hostel is located in the suburbs and there aren't too many restaurants nearby. There is a grocery store 10 minutes away, but there is no kitchen usage at the hostel. Also, the dining room was supposedly open for the guests to use up until 11/12 at night, but I on 2 occasions, they locked the doors hours earlier.
Other things: The employees were nice and friendly. There were a lot of families. This is not a party hostel.
