Tired of the ultra-urban A'Dam, Hotel Roozendaal is a nice change of pace. Upon arriving, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a couple of km from Haarlem and a short hop by train to Amsterdam and Schiphol. The room was clean and gave you the old Europe feel. If you are used to staying in high-brand hotels, this is a refreshing change. The kitchen staff offered assistance with my bicycle prior to travelling back to the US. Thank you! The restaurant served a fish special every night and had a great selection of wine.
