We stayed in the Garden suite, the cottage room and nostalgia room which is next door.
All the rooms are reached by quite steep stairs and breakfast in the Nostalgia room is served upstairs via quite a steep stairway so not the most suitable place if you have mobility problems.
The Nostalgia suite is in the house next door and is very comfortable .A great breakfast is served in the dining room. There are two lovely cats living on the premises so perhaps not the place for cat phobes.
The garden suite has a small kitchenette and there is a supermarket nearby , very useful to defray the cost of eating out.
All the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfasts enough to set you up for the day. Trams, buses and boats all pick up nearby and its easy to get to all the main parts of the city..
One tip is the public transport travel cards run on hours not days so a two day card is 48 hours so it makes sense to buy a card as soon as you arrive.
A very welcome haven right on the water with lovely hosts.
