I found this on a google search. I contacted Katja by mail and she immediately gave a quote. Now if we had stayed friday, saturday and suday night the minimum 3 nights it would be cheaper. But for 5 of us for 2 nights we paid 100 Euros each, 50 Euros for the key deposit which we had 2 sets that was brilliant so we could split up into 2 groups if we wanted, 50 Euros deposit for the flat. Which was returned to us on the check out. We asked Katja on the first day to book out taxi back to the airport which was 30 Euros. Trust me this is a great option after all the clubbing and late nights.
We all bought the All-in One Travel Tickets from Schiphol Airport at
Holland International tourist information desk (opposite Arrival Hall 2, open
daily from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.). This allowed for one train journey from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station and back and by the esculator to go down to take the train you have to validify the ticket with a yellow machine, we took a 48 hour OV-card for the public transport in Amsterdam which included the tram, bus and night us at 17.25Euros. Remeber you must touch in a out a bit like the oyster card in UK
We met Katja opposite the Centraal Station at a church called St Christopher. We turned to the left and walked 10 mins, close to an office license, restaurants, cafes, well light roads, alley way straight into the red light district, bus stop, she brought us upstairs, now the stairs are steep so take your time, the apartment was stunning and so well laid out, she showed us all the rooms, all included with cooking stuff, towel, beds were very comfy, hair dryer, radio, DVd's, CD's, great Wi-fi, you really only needed was your suitcase. We paid her at the check in, she explained how and where to go, it was so nice and relaxing, she is so welcoming, We kept in contact on text messages. Really great place, we had our own party in the flat with the local off license and paid 3 Euros to the local restaurant to get a bag of ice. Then we would venture out to the clubs in Rembrant square the latest club ESCAPE was amazing Euros 15 to get in. The flat was round the corner from the trams station and easy to access the canal tours and to get to all parts of the city. Definately going back and will always use this place. It was so quiet, nice to chill, you could do your own fry ups and bring takeaway to the flat and have a few drinks and enjoy your time.
