Me and my girlfriend stayed for two nights in December and both agreed it was one of the best B&Bs, we've ever had the pleasure of staying in.
From start to finish, the service and surroundings were fabulous. Leading up to the booking, Peter was very attentive and emailed a number of recommendations for during our stay. Upon arrival (overlooking one of the city's many picturesque canals), Peter made us a coffee and snack, immediately helping us make plans for our weekend.
The room (blue) was exceptionally appointed. Probably no surprise given Peter is an interior designer. All the mod-cons were present, with added flourishes such as fresh lillies, iMac, selection of DVDs and Loewe TV.
Peter and Wolter (plus Tommy the adorable Beagle!) joined us for a sumptuous 4 course breakfast each morning and provided witty and informative company. The kitchen was open all day, allowing us to enjoy coffees, teas, snacks and drinks at our pleasure.
Overall, it made what was already a memorable weekend in a superb city into an unforgettable experience. Peter and Wolter are the perfect hosts and you should definitely pay a visit.
