I spent 3 nights at Mozart hotel with my boy friend in January.
I chose the accommodation because of the location and low rate. I was going to museums and wanted to be close to nice restaurant and cafe area so that we don't have to take tram to go home after dinner. I don't spend time in room while traveling in new city anyway. This was right place.
5 minutes walk from tram #1,2,and 5 Prinsen street stop, and 10 minutes to the the 3 major museums. Restaurants were plenty in 5 minutes walking distance like Italian, Dutch, Argentinian, Japanese, Indonesian, cafe and bars.
Room we stayed was quiet, small and dark. Just enough to sleep. It would be much better if you get a room on street side with big windows, but I think I would not have got it because I booked the cheapest double/twin room with the lowest price online. Fresh towels everyday, bed was not too old, warm central heating. Just enough to sleep.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel because there were nice coffee shops like starbucks, local bakeries had lovely pastries and sandwich and pubs at Leodseplein open early to big English style breakfast or pancakes. But their breakfast looked just fine.
People at the reception were nice, helpful if you have questions about sightseeing.
So all and all, everything was just enough for the price I paid and I got what I looked for. Recommend to budget travelers.
Room Tip: They have fewer double rooms so we had to have twin room on the first day and moved to double room f...
