We spent 4 nights here, and thoroughly enjoyed it! Paul and Karen are terrific hosts, making sure that there are many thoughtful added touches - from the carafe of blackcurrent gin awaiting your arrival, the much appreciated umbrellas by the front door, to the maps and helpful local info. Any requests were dealt with immediately and pleasantly.
The rooms were lovely (our daughter joined us for 2 days, and her room was also great), and the self-serve kitchenette area well provisioned.
Don't let the location put you off. We absolutely loved the area! It was quiet, but had many good restaurants and shops. There is quick and easy tram access to the city center, but we mostly walked back and forth, enjoying the stroll through Vondelpark. It is very easy to get to the Museum area as well.
We will definitely stay here again!

perfect communication before arrival, found place exactly like described - and still were so positively surprised: beautifully but also puristic decoration, super comfy big bed, great en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower (attention: not all rooms have this - check when booking), big garden-doors to the private patio (check during booking as some rooms go to the street), all super clean.
We got many tips and maps for recommended places from Paul (très sympa) and could test one (Castro: very authentic very nice and not even expensive Spanish food).
The service in the B+B is extremely good and full of lovely details (a mobile phone to reach the owners at any time and to book taxis or restaurants - for free!, a yummy liquor on the room, sweets at the entry door, a chocolate on the freshly made bed every day, ...)
The area is lovely, quiet but equipped with all necessary shops and restaurants and services, and only a walk (or short tram ride) from the historic centre (although I highly recommend to give a pass to the tourist traps and explore the many side streets and canals).
The only recommendation we had:
as the kitchen area is (as described everywhere) very small it could be perfect to have a microwave to heat food or milk, as there is a fridge for the guests. Small change, big difference...
We will surely come back and also recommend to friends and family!

My partner and I spent 10 days in this bed and breakfast in October 2011 and we really enjoyed it there. The hosts made us feel very welcome and at home there and gave us lots of useful tips for our stay in Amsterdam. The place is very conveniently located (10-15 minute tram ride or just a half an hour walk from the city centre; numerous shops, cafeys just on the door step) in a very quiet residential area by canals. The apartment where we stayed was spotless. We will definitely come back.

Myself and my partner stayed here Oct 2011, the manager Paul starts your welcome before you arrive with emails detailing the best routes from the airport to the B&B. The welcome on arrival was friendly too and very informative with local maps and great places to eat. Paul even supplies a mobile phone (at accommodation) with single button calls, to himself and local taxis etc.The cleaning staff are a great assett, very clean rooms and bathroom. Lovely garden terrace (downstairs only I think). Vondelpark is a few minutes walk only. We enjoyed our stay and would reccommend this B&B to anyone.
