Stayed at this hotel for a night last week on business. Location and actual hotel facilities were great. Had a comfortable, clean room which was at the back of the building so there was minimal noise as well. This is important because the front of the hotel is on a very busy and noisy thoroughfare so be careful which room you are allocated. If you are given a room overlooking the front then be warned they will be plenty of noise. The room also came with a good bathroom and as a bonus also came with free wi-fi.

The downside of my experience at the Luxer was encountering their surly staff manning their reception desk. A simple 'hello' or greeting would have been nice from any of them. I guess this could be the 'dutch' way! If they can improve their attidtude in this respect then I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Hotel was perfect for our last nights stay in Amsterdam. Very close to the train station which we used to get to the airport. Many good restaurants, coffeeshops and souvenier shops all within walking distance. The bathroom was remodeled and very clean. The rest of the room was average. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel located 5 minutes from dam's square and from the central station. A great street worth a lot of ggod restaurants and cofeeshops. The room is big and comfortable and the stuff are very kind and love to help.

Very small rooms, tiny bathrooms, small shower, thin walls, old TV, old furniture, air condition did not work properly, very expensive (about 150 EUR) without breakfast. The only positive - location near central station and free internet in the rooms. Hotel's pictures in the internet is nice, but it's not true. So, if you can afford - better try to find decent hotel.
