We stayed 3 night in december 2011 in this very charming bed & breakfast. The hosts, Peter & Aziz are really very kind people & do everything to make a success of your stay. The room (Grand Sahara) was a hit. Very comfortable, clean, 2 bathrooms (1 with shower toilet & 1 with big jacuzzi toilet), 2 levels, comfortable bed, 2 televisions, little kitchen...). We really recommend this B & B for all people who like the good things in life.

My wife and I spent 4 nights in October under the care of Peter and Aziz at Suite 259 in Amsterdam. We loved it. The Sahara Suite was full of character and fully comfortable. Everything was catered for - including snacks and drinks and my wife's favorite flowers. Bed and shower were excellent as well.
Aziz made us excellent Singapore style breakfasts, that we relished and both Peter and Aziz were great to chat with and get advice about what to do.
We would definitely go back and have already recommended to our friends and family.
As the title said - with some boutique places - it is all about the place - at Suite 259 - it is all about you.

My family stayed for three nights at this wonderful bed and breakfast in the Grand Sahara Suite. Not only is the Suite beautifully decorated, with many thoughtful and comfortable touches (fruit, coffee and tea makings, juice and beverages in the fridge, slippers, robes) but the hosts are so welcoming. Peter can answer your questions before you even know what to ask and he just seems to know what is needed and when. The suite is great for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing - very spacious with comfortable beds and a wonderful patio space. Breakfasts are delicious and exotic but also include the wonderful little pancakes, prepared by Aziz. Rice is Nice, the new restaurant venture of Aziz, is something you must try, even if you don't stay here. Delicious Singapore home cooking, freshly made just for you. We felt well taken care of and would highly recommend Suite 259.

Our family of four stayed at Suite 259 for three wonderful nights. The Suite Grand Sahara was perfect for a family with two teenagers. The suite was very clean and had everything we needed for an extremely comfortable stay. The beautiful flowers and bottle of wine waiting for us as well as the soda, juices, and water were all little touches that made us feel at home. Suite 259's location suited us well, it is in a less busy part of the city but was easy to access by tram and by foot. Aziz treated us each day to a wonderful breakfast. The foods were delicious as well as beautifully presented. One family favorite was the plate of poffertjes that was served to begin each breakfast. While we were there, Aziz started a dinner take out business. One evening, after a long day of sightseeing we enjoyed one of his dinners on the balcony patio of the suite...it was a perfect ending to a lovely day. Peter was an excellent travel advisor for us. Each morning at breakfast we would tell him our plans and he would offer tips and advise on how to make the day better. He also recommended some lovely restaurants that served quality food at fair prices and were not in the high tourist areas. Our stay at Suite 259 made our visit to Amsterdam a memorable one.
