I got tempted to reserve this hotel for the tariff offered on the queens night/day when the whole country parties as if there is no tomorrow. The rooms and other comforts at the hotel are basic. The transport link to the city center is not too great either. All in all opt for this hotel if you are tight on purse.

I have stayed in this hotel because I had not any reservations and it was getting difficult to find a hotel in Amsterdam. The rooms were very dirty. The personnel is not professional and they charge you for anything you request. Moreover, you need always to ask for the prices because they are never indicated. The "free" internet service is free actually because they have a poor service that never works properly. Parking is outside the hotel and (of course) extra to the room rate. I would never recommend this hotel, even to an enemy!

Spend your money elsewhere, we stayed here over New Years and it was awful. Our room was about 8 degrees C and the heater in the room didn't work at all. We went down to the front desk and asked if we could change rooms and they said that they were full. We then asked if they had a space heater as it was freezing in the room and the heater in the room was not working. Nope, they didn't have any space heaters. So we asked if we could have some extra blankets. Nope, every single blanket in the entire hotel was being used. So we asked for some towels in order to have some kind of extra covering. Nope, no extra towels in the ENTIRE hotel. And to top things off the guy at the front counter turned to his friend and started laughing at us while we were still standing there. Whatever you do do not stay at this hole.

booked & PAID 3 weeks in advance over the net.. just to be informed at arrival, that the hotel is fully booked and the booking was accepted by mistake. No calls from the hotel in advance. no email. no notification. Being told to move to the best western near the airport, given 3EUR cash and send off into the night to the rail station.
Uancceptable service. AVOID.
