I have stayed here a couple times now, for a few days to a week at a time, with co-workers.
This hotel is very good for a no-nonsense business hotel. The prices are quite reasonable, the lobby restaurant actually serves pretty good food, and I have never had one bit of problem with the hotel staff - they are accommodating and professional.
The rooms are compact though not small (by european standards, at least), and you get a no-nonsense experience. I recommend you bring soap and shampoo with the toiletries as what you are given is rather paltry.
The location is within a 7-8 minute walk of the metro stop, which can bring you into the center. This is definitely not a place for tourists due to location (unless you get great rates), but for business it's good.
I have also stayed at the other hotel nearby, and it's definitely a step up both in terms of style and price. But we keep coming back to the Bastion for good service and convenience for our business location.
The one drawback is the free Internet - it works fine for browsing, but when the hotel is busy, it just isn't good for VoIP calls... it's very unreliable.
