I dont know what to say really.... if the accomadation is clean and basic... i'm happy, but this place is a joke. i had heard of the steep stairs, so i requested a ground floor room. There was four of us on a girls holiday. It took us ages to find the place.. but thats more our bad sense of direction, than there fault. there was a tram line outside our bedroom window.... it stopped at like 1 or 2 in the morning.. started again at 7 am... i was going nuts!... worst sleep ever.... Couldn't open windows.... carpet was vile.... beds were basic... This place is only for stag weekends and budget travelers. The staff were so unhelpful.. really didnt care. The breakfast of cold hard boiled eggs and cheese and bread... was edible. We had to walk outside and down the street to the reception and dining area, its in seperate building. the only plus was its central location and price..... a place i hope i never have the misfortune of staying in again...

Book elsewhere especially at busy times. Can't fully rate hotel as was not able to stay there. There was another couple also turned away as I arrived.

I had a confirmed reservation with Hoteliers.com of which I made several for the coming year with different hotels with Hoteliers.com with the same card details.

After booking flights this hotel emailed me direct to say they have cancelled my booking making the excuse that my card is not valid. They did NOT ask to confirm my card details or ask for any other card of which I have or ask for me to contact them.

NO JUST CANCELLED - book at this hotel and you may just find yourself on the street!

We booked two twin rooms in this hotel for three nights . We paid a booking deposit but after reading reviews and attempting to cancel the booking six days before our due arrival ,the hotel immediately charged the full amount of the stay for four people to the credit card. On arrival we found reception to be in another hotel across the street. On entering our rooms on the ground floor we found them to be extremely small with tiny shower rooms. The hotel in general was extremely shoddy. On complaining we were moved to slightly larger rooms but with even smaller shower rooms on the third floor with no lift and the narrowest, steepest staircase imaginable. On the first evening I attempted to leave to meet friends and found myself to be locked in as the main hall door would not open. Other guests attempting to enter from outside found the same problem. A guest informed reception who refused to come over to investigate the problem and stated that the door would eventually open if we continued to try the handle. In doing so the handle came off in my hand. The fire exit was locked with no way out and a notice saying it was locked to stop people entering. A queue of guests had gathered outside as they couldn't enter either and only when I passed the door handle through a small grid covering the glass panel in the door did reception send someone to resolve the problem, eventually fitting a new door handle. A horrible experience which ruined the holiday. No apology was tendered , in fact the staff at reception were downright rude. An expensive and unfortunate mistake in booking this hotel, approximately 170eur per person for three nights with no breakfast included. An unsafe , unpleasant hotel with unfriendly staff. Avoid!
