FANTASTIC LOCATION!!!!its about 50m fro RLD,and its in the city centre,a Dam sq. is a minut away,sexmuseum a minut,many famous coffee shops are around the hotel(route66,grashoper,...),there are sex shops,fast food,and nice caffee bars(like hot or not :) ,there are alow smoking cigarets)...rooms are clean and small and cheap...if you going to amsterdam for fun,drugs and prostitutions this is the perfect hotel....oh,yes...the central station is about 100m from hotel :) great!!! i was 3days in decembar...forget the hotel and how its look...its location that you need in amsterdam...ofcourse if you like only to visit museum's here,then dont stay here :)

“Excellent location... and that's it!”

Excellent location, next door to the grasshopper coffee shop & pub and right in the red light. It's a really cheap place to stay, rooms are terrible, Something like a stena lines cabin and it's busy and loud too but with such a central loation you get what you paid for!

“For the price and location I loved it”

I stayed one night here to visit coffee shops. This place was perfect. Out my window were the neon lights of a coffee shop. It was warm enough to sleep with the windows open so I could here the party scene down below. It is a fire trap. As I meandered up spiral staircases and around corners and even up three steps, down three steps, I realized if there was a fire, I was a goner.

All this might sound horrible to you, but as I sat in my room smoking myself to sleep, I could imagine a "William Hurt kind of character" sitting in my room. I thought it was great and would definately go back.
