We stayed at the Hotel De L'Europe in November right after they had finished their renovations and we were completely "wow"ed by the new look!! Due to a miscommunication on a previous visit, Titta greeted us at the front desk and even gave us a choice of rooms to stay in! We had a fantastic room with a view of the canals and a bottle of champagne was sent to our room as soon as we had checked in. The staff and service level are unmatched by the other hotels in the immediate area! The lobby is breath taking with its large chandeliers and huge portraits hanging on the walls. It exudes elegance and class and we just loved it! Titta, if you see this, THANK YOU for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable! We will be back!

Me and my friend loved our stay Hotel De L'Europe, The concierge Mr.Bronsveld planned each night beautifuly. They scheduled the best restaurants and places to go to aswell as put us on the guestlist to certain nightclubs. Everybody there was very friendly and helpful. This hotel is also in the center of Amsterdam. It was our first time in Amsterdam and it was the best New Years we've ever spent. The view of the canals from our room were very excellent.

We visited Freddy's after spending a day in Amsterdam. It is a relaxed environment and a perfect place when you need to take a break from the adventures of Amsterdam. The view over the canal and Munttoren is simply stunning.
The cocktails are delicious! If you aren't sure about what to choose the staff can give you tips and you just might find a new favourite. The staff is social and friendly, providing excellent service. We had a lot of fun joking with the staff and will definitely come back!

I recently stayed at the Hotel De L'Europe (January 15, 2012) and was totally wowed by my experience. It was my first time there and I was thrilled. The renovations are complete and it is gorgeous inside. The public spaces are beautiful (didn't have a chance to eat there since the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays) but the bar is great as is the area where you can have tea. I was upgraded to a Junior Suite, a blue room overlooking the canal. It was a "clean room," which means everything was pristine and there was an air filter going 24/7. The bathroom had both a tub and a shower and a heated floor. The staff was very and welcoming (despite the fact that I showed up with just a backpack for luggage) and went out of their way to make me feel at home. Highly recommended. I have stayed at a lot of different hotels in Amsterdam - this is the best.
