Great location close to trams within easy reach of Leidsplein on foot - walk through the Vondel Park. A very convenient clean hotel that is great value for money. Has the basic facilities you need and staff were very friendly.There was a problem with my wardrobe door and they came to fix it immediately.

Good value in a great position with clean comfortable beds. Could improve with providing little comforts like providing tea/coffee facilities in room and a basin plug.

Avoid this hotel if at all possible. This is why:

1. Rooms are very small and dirty (found a big spider in the bathroom -see picture).
2. Some items are broken or deficient
3. Internet is not free
4. The breakfast room is so small that sometimes one has to take the breakfast to his-her own bedroom if one wants to have it right away (the place gets crowded very easily)
5. The staff is unhelpful

Amsterdam is a great city, but this hotel can ruin your trip. Avoid it at all costs!

This little hotel with friendly staff is an adventure in itself.
It seems to be built like a maze, and there are so many turns and corners that I got lost a few times.
It is not very new, and there is a bit wear and tear in the whole building, so if these things bother you, choose a different place. Breakfast was fair enough. Nothing fancy, but at least it was clean in the breakfast room and staff was attentative.
So, if you are ok with the fact that beds, furniture and general interior is old, this hotel is ok for the location.
Probably will be looking for a different hotel for my next stay though.
