Very good value for money in Amsterdam. Good location, 10 min walk fom the Amsterdam Central station or from city center - this is very helpful. If you are planning to visit a lot of things and just to sleep is the perfect choice for budget accomodation. The room is like in the pictures (very small) but as I sad, is more than sufficient for sleeping. The showers and the toliet are clean. The breakfast is good and the staff are very helpful.

A bit of a walk from Amsterdam Central station (a good 15 minutes) which can be quiet tiring with luggage but once you get to the boat you will see that it is a great location for exploring the main sites of Amsterdam. Rooms are a bit small but what can you expect if you're staying on a boat? There was one window for each room which we had to keep open for ventilation but it made us kinda worried since it didn't have a screen and so didn't feel safe leaving anything valuable in the room.

Nice and handy to the city, clean but small cabins, great friendly service and very helpful, all that you need for a short stay in Amsterdam.

We have just got back from a 4 day stay in Amsterdam and loved the Friesland hostel, now Amaticia. Roy, who checked us in was friendly, helpful and happy to answer questions. The boat was clean and great to stay in. Plus, it's so close, even my travel buddy could have found her way home and she gets lost findng her bathroom at home...
