We enjoyed our stay. However since breakfast is not included, it really should not cost 150 euros per night. It doesn't matter to us, as we prefered to have our breakfasts nearby. We have stayed in Amsterdam before.

Surprisingly we found it to be relatively quiet despite being in a busy area and street. It's pretty basic and nothing too special here to say I would stay again. There were no problems however so I don't expect you would have any either. Rooms and bathroom were clean and tidy and there was plenty of room for your things.

We stayed at La Vie En Rose in December and were very impressed with the facilities of this welcoming apartment. It felt like we were one of the locals returning home after a busy day sightseeing. Yvon was very welcoming and gave us all the local information we needed to get our bearings. The apartment is very central and we were able to cover everything on foot even though all modes of transport were on hand. The apartment was bright clean and spacious with a separate large comfortable bedroom which even had its own little TV. The kitchenette had everything you could wish for including coffee maker and supplies like tea and coffee and a large enough fridge to keep our drinks etc cold. We found a lovely little market nearby and stocked up on local bread and cheese etc which came in handy for breakfast, something you could not do in a hotel. The owners Christa and Yvon were very informative and friendly but 'left us to it' which is how we like it but they let us know how to get in touch should we need to. Overall we would recommend La Vie En Rose for anyone looking to experience the real Amsterdam in truly wonderful surroundings. Thank you Christa and Yvon!

Location, location, location. This apartment is right in the middle of everything. Close to shopping, restaurants, tourists attractions, canals and the central station. The window seat in the front room is a window on the busy lives of the Amsterdam people. Don't miss it. The apartment is large, quiet and with a large walk in shower. A treat after 5 weeks in small Italian bathrooms. Don't miss this historic Amsterdam house. We definitely would recommend it.

Lovely clean apartment 10 minute walk from central station. Close to all major attractions and some fab cafes. Owners were very friendly and helpful and everything you needed was available in the apartment. Would definitely return to Amsterdam and stay in the apartment. Would recommend to all our friends and family. We enjoyed our stay immensely but may visit in a slightly warmer month than February next time!!!
