The hostel is a bit far from the center of the city, something like 35minutes by public transports that stop right front of the hotel.
The hotel isn't bad, the rooms are fine and clean, the bathroom good. The breakfast presents us very variously things but the room is a quite small for so much people, I've had to go eating to the reception.
Another bad thing is the distance to go to your room, you've to walk so much to go to your room and when you come you can't sleep because of the noise of your neighbor.
Despite it all, if I travel again to Amesterdam I will made my reservation on this hotel.

The hostel is a bit far from the center, about half hour by public transport, witch has stop right in front of the hotel.
I went with a friend of mine, but we were in separate rooms, I booked a 6 female dorm, we were only 4, room was small, but clean, linen included and clean, bathroom alright. In my friends room he couldn't guess witch was the clean bed, but that's not the hostels fault.
The included breakfast was really good, except the orange juice, witch was very sweet and never saw any orange.
Receptionist was friendly and helpful.
The reception and lobby looks like a hotels lobby, because of the combinated hotel&hostel, after this the room is a bit disappointing, but there is free internet acces in the hallway.
All in all is not the best place I've staid in but for the money you pay it is ok. Would recommend it for people who don't have too many expectations from cheap sleeping places.

GOOD: continental breakfast was included and was good; the bedding was clean;

BAD: the shower was disgusting - it did not drain well, and there was a gallon of spoiled milk in the shower cubicle! I stayed there for 2 nights, and 3 days and refused to shower. This hostel/hotel is far from the city centre and costs 2.60 Euro each way.

I would recommend this hotel/hostel again for 1-2 nights, if you are ok with not showering. I would NOT recommend this hotel/hostel for a couple. There is free parking in the residential neighborhood behind the building.
